‘Compton’ by Dr. Dre streamed 25 million times on Apple Music

In 1991, Barnes was the victim of a violent assault by Dr. Dre, who beat and kicked her while attempting to throw her down a set of stairs.

Dee Barnes, who hosted a show about hip-hop on Fox called “Pump It Up!”, says Dre assaulted her in 1991. “Although Barnes writes, “…but I don’t think it should have been, either.

She continued, “But what should have been addressed is that it occurred”. So to watch the biopic of Compton-hailing rap group N.W.A., many Carson residents are going to the Cinemark Carson & XD in Carson, the nearest movie theater.

Barnes says she absolutely did not want to see the actual assault in the film, but found it unbelievable that it was completely erased from the narrative.

Straight Outta Compton, which raked in a hefty $60 million in box office sales this past weekend, tells the inspiring story of N.W.A.’s rise to prominence, both musically and culturally. “It doesn’t add up”.

The R&B singer Michel’le, who was in a relationship with Dre from 1990 to 1996, noted her omission from the film in an interview with VladTV, saying: “Why would Dre put me in it?” Over the years, he and the others in N.W.A. have blithely acknowledged what happened, and recently in Rolling Stone, Dre issued a vague statement of regret when asked about violence against women: “I made some fucking frightful mistakes in my life”. “I was young, f***ing stupid”.

“Compton” had around 11 million streams in the U.S. alone, and those taking advantage of Apple Music’s free trial can enjoy the whole thing as much as they like free of charge. It was really fucked up. “But I paid for those mistakes, and there’s no way in hell that I will ever make another mistake like that again”.

A close source to Jay Z and Beyonce told Naughty Gossip about the A-list couple’s reaction and said, “They are jealous”. When the characters are big-name artists like Dr. Dre, Eazy E and Ice Cube, getting the right cast to play these characters on screen is not easy, but somehow the movie pulled it off making you feel like these are the actual people from the time.

In the past, Michel’le has been vocal about the black eyes and scars she received while being abused by Dr. Dre, who’s an executive producer on Straight Outta Compton.

Later, Barnes says she hasn’t spoken with Dre in years, and that her most recent interaction with Cube was negative.

Guess what? That scene was not depicted in the movie, nor were other beatings, like the time Dr. Dre repeatedly punched a rapper named Tairrie B at a Grammys party.
