Hillary Clinton to return to campaign trail on Thursday
Hillary Clinton’s campaign released additional medical information Wednesday regarding the Democratic U.S. presidential nominee’s health after details of her having been diagnosed with pneumonia emerged earlier this week.

At a rally in OH on Wednesday night, Donald Trump, momentarily off the leash he’s been on since his campaign shake-up, directed a tasteless remark at Hillary Clinton, saying that she likely wouldn’t be “able to stand up” onstage for an hour and deliver a speech. She was treated with a 10-day course of Levaquin, an antibiotic used to treat infections.
Hillary Clinton released a new note from her doctor Wednesday afternoon-the latest chapter in the ongoing uproar over the Democratic presidential candidate’s health.
Clinton has been resting at her home in Chappaqua, N.Y. In an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper on Monday evening, Clinton said she was feeling “so much better” but admitted that “I should have gotten some rest sooner”.
A new Morning Consult poll released Wednesday finds voters have concerns about her physical well-being and believe she has not given the public accurate information about her health. She was put on antibiotics, and advised to rest and modify her schedule.
Clinton, 68, received a CT scan on Friday, the letter said.
It says Mrs Clinton is in an excellent mental condition, and her health records show blood pressure and cholesterol within normal ranges. After she was diagnosed on Friday, she did not disclose her illness and continued to campaign instead of resting, meeting with national security advisers in New York City on Friday and hosting two fundraisers on Friday and Saturday.
Clinton’s health became a sudden focus of the presidential race after she abruptly left the event commemorating the 15th anniversary of the terrorist attacks in NY and was later filmed stumbling and being helped into a van by her aides. She still takes the same two medications regularly, Armor Thyroid and Coumadin, as well as occasional doses of vitamin B12 and antihistamines, which Clinton said she “upped” last week to “try to break through” her seasonal allergies after suffering a coughing attack on stage.
Clinton plans to return to the campaign trail on Thursday after several days resting at her suburban NY home. Her blood levels have been relatively stable.
