Charleston Southern suspends 14 players for FSU game
Charleston Southern University, the South Carolina-based university, has suspended over 30 of its players for violating a seemingly minor NCAA rule barring them from purchasing non-book items with money given specifically for books. Korn said he believed the punishments were unfair given that other colleges, including some in Charleston Southern’s conference, now offer full cost-of-attendance scholarships to athletes, which would include such items as clothing and school supplies.

So basically about 30+ players on my team including me have been suspended for using book money to buy other things in the book store like pencils, binders, and electronics, out of our school bookstore.
