RAW VIDEO: Part of I-93 in New Hampshire Closed Due to Sinkhole

A massive sinkhole has shut down Interstate 93 north between Exit 13 and Exit 14, and the New Hampshire Department of Transportation is asking travelers to take alternative routes through Wednesday evening.

The northbound side of the highway was closed Wednesday afternoon between exits 13 and 14.

A southbound lane also had been closed temporarily.

Department of Transportation spokesman Bill Boynton says the report came in just after noon, and no injuries were reported.

Thomas Conner, 55, of Chichester, N.H., drove up to the sinkhole and berated workers while they were trying to patch up the roadway, police said.

Officials said part of the fix work will entail using concrete to seal up a City of Concord storm drain that runs under the highway near where the sinkhole opened up.
