Trump team tries to get traction over Clinton’s ‘deplorables’ gaffe

The Democratic nominee, who was recently diagnosed with pneumonia, spent Tuesday at her home in Chappaqua, New York, where she watched President Barack Obama’s stump speech in Philadelphia on her behalf, Merrill said. The first lady makes her first campaign appearance for the Democratic nominee on Friday, promoting voter registration in Northern Virginia. “So even though I’ve run my last campaign, I’m going to work as hard as I can this fall to elect Hillary Clinton as our next president of the United States of America” said Obama at the plaza in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Earlier this year, Bornstein drew attention for writing that Trump would be the healthiest president in history. Trump, on the other hand, provided a summary from a recent physical to Dr. Mehmet Oz while taping an episode of Oz’s show. “Hillary Clinton’s release of updated medical information today meets a standard followed by presidential candidates like Barack Obama and Mitt Romney”.

Trump spoke on “The Dr. Oz Show” in an interview broadcast Thursday. He said giving a speech is “a lot of work” and requires “a lot of motion”.

Hillary Clinton’s campaign released additional medical information on the Democratic nominee’s health Wednesday, a day before she is set to resume campaigning after being diagnosed with pneumonia. With less than two months from Election Day, Clinton’s standing with Americans has contributed to a race that is tighter than both parties expected. The steps themselves were fenced off, framed by giant letters spelling out the Clinton campaign slogan: “Stronger Together”. Her campaign didn’t disclose the illness until Sunday, after video circulated on social media showing her stumbling and being supported by aides after abruptly leaving a 9/11 memorial service in New York City.

The document included a highly specific account of the diagnosis and treatment of Clinton’s bout with pneumonia, including the dehydration that led to her fainting on Sunday.

In a not-so-subtle slap at Clinton, the Trump campaign said the medical report showed Trump “has the stamina to endure – uninterrupted – the rigours of a punishing and unprecedented presidential campaign and, more importantly, the singularly demanding job of president of the United States”. Clinton’s remarks Thursday will focus on lifting up children and families, as the campaign tries to break through with a more positive message. I have just examined her and she is now rehydrated and recovering nicely, ‘ Bardack said in a statement released by Clinton’s campaign.

Dr Bardack said Mrs Clinton’s vital signs remained normal. The letter did not state when she received those vaccines. To an audience of roughly 6,000 supporters in downtown Philadelphia, Obama argued that Clinton has been more transparent in providing health and financial records than her rival, as well as releasing her past tax returns while Trump refuses to release his. In follow-up evaluations, Clinton was found to have a blood clot in a vein in the space between her brain and the skull behind her right ear. She has also had a normal mammogram and breast ultrasound, according to the letter. “After the tube was placed, Mrs. Clinton had significant improvement in her symptoms”, the doctor said in the letter.

Her medications include medicine for an underactive thyroid, a blood thinner, an antihistamine (Clarinex) for seasonal allergies, and B-12 for mild anemia.

In the previous poll by the same organization a few weeks ago, Clinton was leading Trump in double digits. Tim Kaine, also released his health information in a letter from Dr. Brian P. Monahan, the US congressional physician. The letter said Kaine has never smoked and his alcohol use is “modest”.
