New poll reveals Trump and Clinton locked in tight race
USA voters are increasingly convinced that Democratic presidential contender Hillary Clinton has health issues, a new poll showed.

Trump rode a 35-percent lead among Anglo voters to a 39-32 percent lead overall, with a 4 percent margin of error.
Trump and Clinton are virtually tied among all registered voters, with Trump ahead 30-29 percent and a 3 percent margin of error.
A possible sign of the tightening race, Clinton’s campaign announced it will open six more campaign offices in the Buckeye State this week, bringing the total number of Democratic offices in OH to 54.
When third party candidates Gary Johnson and Jill Stein are factored in, the race is tied, with Trump and Clinton each getting the backing of 42 percent of likely voters. Nearly seven in 10 Republicans – 68 percent – said Clinton’s health was below average, compared to 16 percent of Democrats.
The majority of Americans believe that both Clinton and Trump would survive a four-year term as USA leader. Fifty-one percent of Mr. Trump’s supporters say they are very enthusiastic about voting; 43 percent of Mrs. Clinton’s supporters say they are very enthusiastic.
This is the first Times/CBS News poll of the election cycle to include a measure of likely voters.
Trump now garners support from just under nine in ten Republican voters, as does Clinton among Democrats.
A total of 64 per cent of registered Democratic voters said they felt at least somewhat enthusiastic about voting – a drop from 77 per cent in August – and just 38 per cent said they were very enthusiastic, down from 47 per cent a month ago. But Trump is ahead of Clinton with men and has 48% of the male vote to Clinton’s 34%.
Mrs. Clinton found herself under attack last week for suggesting that half of Mr. Trump’s supporters held views that made them “deplorables”, and for her campaign’s attempts to hide her pneumonia diagnosis.
Over half of Republicans think Clinton should release more medical records concerning her health, but 52 percent think their nominee has released enough information already.
This poll was conducted by telephone September 9-13, 2016 among a random sample of 1,753 adults nationwide, including 1,433 registered voters.
