In her remarks after the event, Timmons said, “I wanted him to see the best of Flint”.

“I said, ‘Wow this is sort of odd, ‘ and then she came up”, Trump said on Fox.
The pastor of a black church in MI interrupted Donald Trump as he railed against Hillary Clinton during an address to the church’s congregation. “Everything she touched didn’t work out, nothing”, Trump declared to the small audience inside the church.
Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump made a previously unannounced trip to Flint, Michigan, on Wednesday where he took a very brief tour of a water treatment plant and was later chastised by a local pastor for bringing politics into her pulpit. Trump has declared Flint’s water problems “a horror show” and said “this is a situation that would have never happened if I were president”.
In a statement distributed before Trump’s appearance, Timmons said: “This public event is open to all and today Donald Trump came to observe”.
Trump also compared Mexico and Flint, noting that the circumstances had drastically changed. They’re living in -you have to see, the crime rate over there is ridiculous. So she had that in mind. “Now Hillary Clinton-” Trump said before he was interrupted. She told them to “respect him” as “guests of my church”.
“I mean, everyone plays their games”, he said. It doesn’t bother me.
Trump criticized the decline of the city – “Flint’s pain is a result of so many different failures” – and tried to position himself as the candidate able to fix the kinds of failures that had led to the city’s problems.
He also bemoaned that previously “cars were made in Flint and you couldn’t drink the water in Mexico”. I’m willing to go anywhere, visit anywhere, even if some voters openly oppose me in a community. What do you have to lose?’ I’ll tell you, the audience was fantastic, but she was so nervous.
He continued: “She was so nervous”. “She was a nervous mess, and so I figured something – I figured something was up, really”. When I saw Donald Trump, when I heard him talk about the bad trade deals that are taking jobs away from America.

“I made sure that they understood – this is my church and God’s church and I’m the pastor – we will all do what we came here to do – I’ll listen to one another respectfully”. “Good night”, she added on her personal Facebook page Wednesday night.
