“Wake up” – In a new feature users will quickly learn to take for granted, you can now “wake up” your iPhone simply by lifting it.

Like a lot of Apple Watch functionality, you need your iPhone to do anything meaningful here. Emojis – there are more of them and now you can type a word and it’ll sub in the appropriate image.
Few users are continuously reporting issues on Wednesday, posting their i-device was bricked by the update which is leading to stop their works in the middle.
iOS 10’s uptake may have been affected by a short-lived gaffe that crippled some iPhones whose owners grabbed the upgrade in its first hour or so of availability.
However, Apple has fixed the issue. Keep an eye on iTunes, as it should notify you that your device entered in Recovery Mode. Gone is the familiar “slide to unlock” method, replaced by the combination of Touch ID and the press of the home button. You can also see the various media in a message from the alerts on the screen itself. It also has enabled Tapback that displays six options from which a reply can be chosen.
Note: Repeat steps 2-4 if you run into a problem during setup. That flaw could be abused by an attacker in a privileged network position to stop devices from receiving updates.
‘Connect your device to your computer and open iTunes, ‘ Apple explains.
On a personal basis, I must have been lucky, because I didn’t start updating until 4am AEST in Australia, as you can see from the screenshot below.
This latest update is one of the richest in new features in the history of iOS. Bug-wary users might want to wait for others to be guinea pigs before switching to iOS 10. The first iterations (the “dot zero”) release of iOS 7, iOS 8 and iOS 9 have all had complications upon launch which forced Apple to issue a patch nearly immediately.
IOS 9, released previous year, is now installed on more than 86 percent of iOS devices, according to the report, while only 5.3 percent are using iOS 8 or older.

Online complaints are standard after an Apple update, regardless of glitches, because let’s be honest: change is terrifying. Which would mean connecting said iOS device to a PC or Mac running iTunes.
