Corruption has become the defining feature of the Congress Government and it was testified beyond any doubt by the recent fiasco in the recruitment of police Constables.

Th Chaoba said that the forthcoming election is crucial for the people of Manipur.

“Modi’s directive is that a central minister should visit the northeast region every 15 days”.

Explaining about the development in Northeast India, Shah said that government will bring entire Northeast India in the railway map of the country.

BJP will not allow Manipur’s territorial integrity to be compromised, BJP president Amit Shah has said.

It is important that the North East develops together because individual States in the region can not progress on their own, he added.

Congress Governments of Nagaland, Assam and Sikkim have been routed and non-Congress Governments have been established in these States. Further, to give impetus to the growth of industry and trade in the Northeast, we will take an initiative called “Make in Northeast” along the lines of “Make in India”, Sri Shah said. There has been no development in Manipur. When people start asking questions about this looted amount, the Congress will not be able to face the election. He said that the money meant for the development of Manipur went into the coffers of Congress leaders instead. Since early morning BJP workers from all parts of the state have been rushing in to attend the public meeting.Earlier today, BJP Chief Amit Shah accompanied by BJP National General Secretary, Ram Madhav, Prahlad Patel, Union human resource development Minister, Prakash Javadekar and Northeast Democratic Alliance Convenor and Assam Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma had arrived.Large numbers of BJP workers welcomed them at the Tulihal global airport.

Taking a cue from neighbouring Assam, where the saffron party grabbed power after defeating Congress, BJP has advanced its poll preparations for strife-torn Manipur. He said that the country has rejected the Congress, responding positively to Sri Modi’s appeal of a Congress-free India and that is why a party that once had 400 seats in Parliament is now reduced to 44 in the House.

Shah told the gathering it was time the Congress government in the state was changed and exuded confidence that BJP would get two-thirds majority in the Assembly after the election.
