In the premiere episode, debuted this week, Kristen Bell stars as a hilarious advocate for the very unfunny issue of women’s inequality in the workplace. “More importantly, you don’t have to pay women overtime”.

HuffPostOriginals has partnered with celebrities and charities to launch a video series, called “Celebs Have Issues”, that uses comedy and star power to highlight serious social issues, like equal pay, transgender rights and mental health. “Why outsource to countries like China, India, or Narnia?”

Portraying a standard-issue talking head in the corporate video spoof, Bell asks, “Why outsource all your production to faraway countries like India, China, and Narnia when we have the cheapest and best workforce right here in the good ole USA of A.: women”.

The latter idea is especially interesting as discussions of the gender wage gap tend to focus mostly on the fact that white women make about 77 cents for every dollar a man makes (60 cents if you’re a black woman, 55 cents if you’re Latina). And when it comes to childcare, we’re all equally out of luck: The video reminds us that there are no federal protections for paid maternity leave. In 2014, she starred in a amusing or Die video about an underpaid Mary Poppins.
