‘Cry-Baby’ actress Kim McGuire dead at age 60
Piotrowsky said McGuire didn’t respond well to treatment and went into cardiac arrest twice.

McGuire’s husband, Eugene Piotrowsky, told TMZ the actress died yesterday in a Florida hospital after suffering two heart attacks following a hard battle with pneumonia.
Though her name isn’t exactly household, you might recall her as Mona “Hatchet-Face” Malnorowski in the John Waters movie Cry-Baby, where she mugged and grinned was all-around unbelievable opposite Johnny Depp.
A GoFundMe page was set up a by a friend on Wednesday night to aid Piotrowsky. Her first role was in 1990’s “Cry-Baby”, starring Johnny Depp as a teen able to cry on command.
Hixson added: “She flourished in theater and passed the BAR to become an attorney in multiple states”.
They shared a photo of McGuire from Cry-Baby was posted along with the caption: “Our dear friend Kim McGuire passed away today”.
As roles were hard to find, she switched to practicing law, and met her longtime partner Gene Piotrowsky.
McGuire also made several appearances on TV shows such as Acting on Impulse, Serial Mom, Dream On, and On The Air.
Kim McGuire, a New Orleans native whose film career wasn’t long, but was certainly memorable, has died.

They actually had to swim out of their home! “As one could imagine, this took a toll on both Kim and Gene mentally and physically”, she wrote. They lost all things dear to them and had to rebuild their life together from square one. They relocated to MS and later to Naples, FL. Since the hurricane, Kim became an accomplished author with her dear husband Gene by her side and publishing books of his own. “I love you so much”.
