Ducati India has launched the XDiavel in India at Rs 15.87 lakh (ex-Delhi).
Needless to say that this demon lovechild of a cruiser and a superbike would see a good fan following and allure a larger following for the Italian bike maker, considering the standard Diavel and Diavel Carbon are already one of the largest-selling models for the company in India.

Mechanically, the XDiavel is powered by the Ducati Testastretta DVT 1,262cc engine, which churns out 158PS of power and 128.9Nm of peak torque. Ducati Traction Control, cornering ABS and the innovative Ducati Power Launch further enhance the technology offering on the XDiavel, ensuring high performance and, above all, enhanced safety, the company added. Ducati has recently launched the all new Ducati 959 Panigale, Multistrada 1200S and most recently, the Ducati Multistrada Enduro in the Indian bike market. The XDiavel twins are the first bikes from Ducati to feature a belt drive mechanism, rather than the conventional chain drive setup. The engine produces a maximum power of 156hp and has a 6-speed gearbox, oil bath clutch with a slipper function. The exposed trellis frame gives it a raw and naked appearance. The XDiavel S is also equipped with Ducati’s multimedia infotainment system and Bluetooth connectivity. “The radiator is upsized to retain engine at optimum operating temperature while shrouds on sides direct air towards it. Headlights are redesigned along with full LED optical lights while the XDiavel sits on new multispoke 17” alloy wheels with 120/70 ZR17 tires up front and 240/45 ZR17s at the rear. The bike also gets hands free ignition with the help of an electronic key that activates the bike when the rider is in close proximity of the bike (2 metres).
