Mickey Gall Looks for Sage Northcutt Fight Next
There was a lot of muttering in the build up to the fight about Punk’s inclusion on the UFC roster considering he has practically zero fight experience and had never had an MMA fight whether amateur or professional.

Despite the mauling on Saturday night the 37-year-old said his UFC career was far from over.
Despite the crushing defeat, Punk still pocketed a reported 0,000 (£375k) for the fight – in comparison to Gall’s $30,000 (£22k).
After being taken down early, Punk spent his brief time in the cage trying to evade straight punches and various choke holds. They said I wasn’t gonna make it to the Octagon and they said I wasn’t gonna make it after the back surgery.
“In life, you go big or you go home”.
“I like to take a challenge and this was hell of a mountain”.
Punk faces Gall as a huge underdog in his first ever MMA fight on Saturday night after making the switch from the WWE.
“I had back surgery for this”.
Perhaps Conor cut CM Punk some slack because it was his first match as a UFC fighter.
The 38-year-old Punk was on his back less than 10 seconds into the fight. But who’s to say where I go from here?
Gall (3-0), who made his second UFC appearance, received a disclosed purse of $30,000 – a $15,000 show and $15,000 win. It seems his performance couldn’t impress the UFC President, Dana White, who now comments that Punk shouldn’t be in the promotion.
Still, his debut at the UFC has earned him the admiration and respect from many fighters and fans.

CM Punk got quite the beating in UFC 203, and Conor McGregor couldn’t help joking about it! I think that boy’s corny. Gall said that Punk told him to “always feel you belong”, according to MMA Fighting. He, he kept repeating, “Oh you don’t want to shake my hand, you don’t want to shake my hand” or something like that.
