Alabama releases complete 2015-16 basketball schedule

After tipping off the SEC schedule in Rupp Arena against Ole Miss on Jan. 2, UK will visit LSU on Jan. 5, Alabama on Jan. 9, Auburn on Jan. 16 and Arkansas on Jan. 21. This season marks the return of Kentucky as a permanent opponent – meaning the Vols will always play Kentucky twice under the newly revised scheduling format. After opening the league slate at Ole Miss on January 7, the Tide returns home to face Kentucky and South Carolina.

In what assuredly will be a big game from a ratings standpoint – Barnes will open his SEC coaching career on the road against former Tennessee head coach Bruce Pearl’s Auburn Tigers (Jan. 2 on CBS).

Arkansas closes the year with four of its final six games at home, including welcoming South Carolina to town on Saturday, March 5 to cap the regular season.

The Tide plays two of its first three SEC games in Tuscaloosa.

Including a November 6 exhibition against Alabama-Huntsville, the Vols play 17 home games at Thompson-Boling Arena. Instead, Florida will wrap up SEC play March 5 at Missouri before the SEC Tournament begins March 9 in Nashville, Tenn. The SEC Network will televise the first three days, while the semifinals and championship will be broadcast on ESPN. Seats will be assigned by Razorbacks Foundation guidelines with season ticket prices ranging from $360 to $450. All of the games included in the ESPN package (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and SEC Network) will be available through WatchESPN, accessible online at WatchESPN.com, on smartphones and tablets via the WatchESPN app, and streamed on televisions through Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Chromecast, Roku, Xbox 360 or Xbox One to fans who receive their video subscription from an affiliated provider.
