Pneumonia incident hurts perceptions of Clinton’s health

Clinton’s diagnosis came to light on Sunday after she became overheated and dehydrated at a September 11 memorial service in New York City.

The episode added fuel to questions about Clinton’s health and provided a fresh line of attack for her Republican rival, Donald Trump, who has frequently questioned whether Clinton has the stamina to serve as commander in chief.

The Trump campaign did not immediately respond to Mook’s comments Wednesday evening.

“Next time you see Trump rant on television, think about all the children listening across America”.

“I think it’s a great tactic that’s misapplied” with Trump, he said.

Since then, Hillary’s dosage of Coumadin has “been adjusted as needed according to regular lab testing”, Bardack said.

In Iowa, Trump leads Clinton by 8 percentage points in Iowa – 45 percent to 37 percent, according to a Monmouth University poll released Thursday.

The show is due to air on Thursday. She was treated with a 10-day course of Levaquin, an antibiotic used to treat infections.

Bardack wrote a year ago that while Clinton suffered a scare in 2012 following a concussion, she was now in good health.

A March CT scan of her brain and sinuses showed no abnormalities and mild chronic sinus inflammation.

And he said Clinton has not yet done enough to prove that she is committed to her liberal platform.

Bardack also wrote on Wednesday that Clinton is “up to date” on her vaccinations and has normal mammogram and breast ultrasound.

While Clinton has released more information than Trump – both about her health and financial history – her campaign’s handling of her pneumonia underscored her penchant for privacy, something that has contributed to the public’s lack of trust in the former secretary of state.

“I don’t know why they are saying this”, she said.

“This is where bigotry leads, and we can’t afford it, not here or anywhere else”, Mrs Clinton said. After cancelling several events earlier in the week to rest up at home in Chappaqua, New York, Clinton was set to return to the campaign trail on Thursday with a rally in Greensboro, North Carolina.

The announcement comes a few days after the campaign revealed that Clinton had been diagnosed last Friday with pneumonia.

Hillary’s running mate, US Senator Tim Kaine, 58, also released a physician letter on Wednesday. The letter says Kaine is in “overall excellent health”, has never smoked and has “modest” alcohol use.

The GOP nominee’s campaign released the one-page summary from Dr. Harold Bornstein, an internist and gastroenterologist at Lenox Hill Hospital, on the same day an interview with controversial TV host Dr. Mehmet Oz is airing.

The Quinnipiac poll showed that 54 percent of Clinton voters said they were primarily opposing Trump, and only 32 percent “say they are mainly voting for Clinton”.

“Our campaign readily admits that running against a candidate as controversial as Donald Trump means it is harder to be heard on what you aspire for the country’s future and it is incumbent on us to work harder to make sure voters hear that vision”.

Trump has said he plans to release the details of a recent physical this week. The 70-year-old billionaire appeared on The Dr. Oz Show on Wednesday to discuss a recent physical, but he has still not released detailed medical documents. “Those were all the tests that were just done last week”, Trump said in an excerpt released by the show.
