Matt Forte’s 3 TDs lead New York Jets over Buffalo Bills

The Bills (0-1) suffered a 13-7 loss to the Baltimore Ravens last week in which quarterback Tyrod Taylor threw for 111 yards in 15-for-22 passes. Not only did they lose but they lost in epic fashion with Jets QB Ryan Fitzpatrick throwing three interceptions in the fourth quarter alone. Host Rich Eisen is joined by analysts Steve Mariucci, Marshall Faulk and Michael Irvin to provide news and analysis two hours before kickoff, while host Amber Theoharis and analyst LaDainain Tomlinson join from outside New Era Field. Robert Woods contributed 20 yards in four catches.

Already just one week into the regular season, the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets sit at the bottom of the division behind the New England Patriots. Forte capped drives of 84 and 56 yards with TD runs of 3 and 12 yards sandwiched by a Nick Folk field goal, his second of the night. Marshall went to the locker room to be evaluated, but returned to the game on the next series. Jets rookie OLB Jordan Jenkins (calf) did not play. Darius Rucker, former lead singer of the band Hootie and the Blowfish, performed the national anthem, at Smith’s request.
