Renée Zellweger, Colin Firth & Patrick Dempsey star in Bridget Jones’s Baby featurettes
THE VERDICT: 12 years after her last big screen outing, Bridget Jones is back for more.

This relatable (if somewhat aspirational) character comes not just from Zellweger’s performance, but also from the assured direction of Sharon Maguire, who helmed “Bridget Jones’s Diary” in 2001, as well as the fast, fresh, and very amusing screenplay.
Her one-bedroom flat above The Globe Tavern in Borough is estimated to have been worth £190,000 when Bridget Jones’s Diary came out in 2001 – just about plausible for a lowly journalist.
Renee Zellweger explains what led to her 2010 Hollywood hiatus.
Zellweger also said she still feels young at heart.
The director of Bridget Jones’s Baby kept the father’s identity under wraps from the stars of the movie. You don’t have to be charming.
A more correct title would actually be “Bridget Jones’s Pregnancy”, because the movie is really about determining who the father is and who Bridget is going to end up with when the credits roll.
She said: “Bridget is eternally optimistic, self-effacing and finds humour whenever facing adversity. Just knowing their history, “Still Falling For You” seems to be more applicable to them than Bridget and Jack”.
Bridget Jones’s Baby is in cinemas now. While the dirtier jokes aren’t equally as amusing, it’s such a breath of fresh air to see a film find room for both in an R-rated parameter.
The much-anticipated third installment of the Bridget Jones franchise also welcomes Academy Award victor Emma Thompson to the cast. Of course, I’ve smiled sporadically in quite a few films this year, but “Bridget Jones’s Baby” was a film in which I held a smile upon my face for the entire 122 minute runtime, a runtime in which never drags, as I could live inside the world of Bridget Jones forever. “Bridget Jones’s Baby” is the ideal remedy. She walks away from that, too, and life goes on – until she discover that she’s pregnant. Universal Pictures will distribute Bridget Jones’s Baby in North America and select worldwide territories.
Speaking of cute and hilarious, Bridget herself is still a breath of fresh air as a character. Mistakes and misunderstandings abound, in true romantic comedy fashion.
I went back to school.to study something that I’m fascinated with, as a pedestrian, plebeian observer, and I just wanted to see if I had an aptitude with it, so I went and took. some classes in college. Directed by Sharon Maguire, from a screenplay by Helen Fielding, Dan Mazer and Thompson. This most recent addition to Bridget Jones’s saga does the first two films proud.

“But about a week or so into the filming, I began to relax a little bit and started to enjoy it – largely because we all got along so well”, he noted, turning to his co-stars. You won’t regret taking “Bridget Jones’s Baby” out for a spin.
