Harry Kane reacts to Tottenham milestone after Stoke win
Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has doused concerns over goal-shy striker Harry Kane and backed the England forward to rejoin the goalscoring trail when his side travel to Stoke on Saturday.

Pochettino thinks the performance will be crucial in embedding confidence ahead of a busy period, starting with Wednesday’s Champions League clash with Monaco at Wembley.
Two goals apiece from Harry Kane and Dele Alli saw Spurs win 4-0 at Stoke on April 18 as they kept their championship ambitions alive in emphatic style.
Spurs are evidently keen on rewarding his form and progress, and Pochettino will likely be delighted to continue to secure the futures of key individuals in his squad after having focused on the transfer market up until the end of last month.
“It was an important result for us”.
“After 4-0 and a game like today, we feel very happy”.
– Stoke have won just one of their last seven Premier League matches at home (D2 L4). I fear that dropped points now could see Spurs drop out of the title race, especially with the likes of Chelsea and the Manchester clubs having spent big.
“I was a little bit anxious because we started the game a little bit sloppy”, Pochettino told reporters, “but I think when Son scored, we woke up and started to come into the game”. It is going only one way at the moment.
“That said tomorrow is more about us because we’re still looking for our first win and it’s important that we get that as soon as we can”.
Spurs were held to a 1-1 draw by Liverpool at White Hart Lane before the worldwide break and sit on five points after picking up a draw at Everton and a win over Crystal Palace in their other two games so far this season.
After the England global scored 21 Premier League goals two years ago, he wouldn’t find the back of the net until the seventh game last term.
“We will rotate the squad and every player will have the chance to show his quality”.

“I was out of order to be perfectly honest and I will admit that”, Hughes said at his post-match media conference.
