IPhone 7 and 7 Plus preorder date: Preorders start today at Apple

That fact may have played a role in the decision, but BuzzFeed’s John Paczkowski offers a thorough and compelling narrative behind Apple’s decision: the company just ran out of space for it. The answer is rather a simple one, as Apple says all you need to do is buy another one. Beyond that, as water levels rise and pressure increases, users are putting their iPhone 7 smartphones in undue risk. But hey, at least the new iPhone has a larger battery life, which must makes things a bit better, no?

Apple has introduced two new hues for the iPhone 7 – Jet Black and Black, which are not available for the previous-gen model and could lure consumers. An entirely reengineered enclosure results in a water resistant iPhone offering protection like never before against spills, splashes and dust.

The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus boast some very interesting features, including the wireless headset that signals the end of an era for the traditional 3.5 mm headphone jack. An Android or iPhone 4 device will bring in up to Dollars 300 trade-in value.

Like the iPhone 6s, the iPhone 7 also sports a 4.7-inch Retina HD screen with a resolution of 1,334 x 750 pixels and 326 ppi pixel density.

The iPhone 7 Plus will be capable of zooming in to a factor of 10.

That was the slightly wiffy explanation Apple gave for removing the headphone jack from the new iPhone.

It’s good to see that the iPhone 7 will be hitting prepaid operators shortly after the major postpaid carriers. Verizon customers can pre-order the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus from at 3.01 am (ET) on 9 September. Quite unsurprisingly, the Cupertino-based tech giant has once again hyped up its latest flagship model by referring to it as “the most powerful iPhone ever built”. The collection, pictured above, is made up of 7 new Presidio designs, each with various color options and some featuring prints.
