On Wednesday, the United Nations rights chief Zeid Raad al-Hussein called for an independent, impartial and global mission to assess the situation in Jammu and Kashmir, where over 80 civilians have died in clashes with security forces since July 9. “Pakistan will raise voice for the resolution of Kashmir dispute at all fora”. “Kashmiris are demanding nothing but justice and right to self-determination”, he said.

He said history bears testimony to the fact that such movements can not be suppressed through use of force.
