New Reliance Jio JioFi Hotspot with OLED Display launched at Rs 1999
Reliance has pushed in a new and updated version of the JioFi Hotspot replacing the JioFi 2 Hotspot being sold in their Reliance Digital and Digital Xpress Mini Stores across the country. If you didn’t know, the JioFi 2 was initially launched at Rs 2,899 and later was reduced to Rs 1,999 at the Annual General Meeting announcement earlier this month. From the images, it can be stated that the new device is quite larger than its predecessor as well as sports a square shape when compared to oval and tiny with the original model. It is being retailed at the same price of Rs. 1,999 like its predecessor the JioFi 2.

While the device is not listed on Reliance Jio website, Twitter user IamRaghvendraS has shared some photos of the device and its packaging.
The OLED display on top shows the power status, battery life left and 4G signal strength. To begin with, it now comes in a cylindrical box. The device itself looks considerably bigger than the previous generation, thanks to the 2,600 mAh battery backup – compared to JioFi 2’s 2,300 mAh battery. Interestingly, the back of the device reads ‘Designed in India’. This device is an immensely useful entity if a single place has to be turned in t0 a wi-fi zone and can provide 5 hours of continued usage on a single charge and the battery is rechargeable so charging the device while using it will be the optimal usage.
The hotspot is a nifty device if you want to connect all your devices to the internet.
The Reliance JioFi 4G Wireless hotspot also allows users to use 4G LTE on your phone that doesn’t support 4G through the Jio Join app.

Just like original JioFi, it comes pre-bundled with Jio Welcome Offer, where one can enjoy the unlimited 4G data and voice calls.
