Clinton and Trump tie in new United States poll
– Donald Trump, the Republican nominee, released more information about his health and went through it on national television with Dr. Mehmet Oz on “The Dr. Oz Show”. He said one was a health report and the other a letter from Lenox Hill Hospital, where he received his physical exam last week.

Trump shared the results of a recent physical exam during the taping, with Oz reading from a summary of exam results that Trump is 6 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs 236 pounds.
The letter released Wednesday by the campaign stated that Clinton underwent a chest scan that revealed she had “mild, non-contagious bacterial pneumonia”, according to Clinton’s physician, Dr. Lisa Bardack, chair of internal medicine at CareMount Medical in Mount Kisco, New York.
Both candidates have been under pressure to release more of their medical history.
“He takes a lipid lowering agent (rosuvastatin) and a low dose aspirin”, the letter said.
His weight and height give him a body mass index of 29.5, according to USA measurements, which is within the “overweight” range but close to the “obese” mark at 30.0.
In an interview that aired Thursday on “The Dr. Oz Show“, Trump says he’d like to lose a few pounds, and that his exercise consists of giving campaign speeches, which he calls “a lot of work”.
It’s nearly too ideal.
On the show, which taped Wednesday, Trump unveiled his records in a fitting fashion for the former reality TV star. His testosterone level (at 441, well above the low end of normal) is no longer that of a 35-year-old man, but was characterized as “actually good” by a momentarily flummoxed Oz. He’s a bit overweight and has a penchant for junk food.
As for why health is important in the presidential race, Trump said, “When you’re running for president, I think you have an obligation to be healthy”. NBC News reported last month that Bornstein had written the letter in five minutes while a limo sent by Trump waited outside his office.
“Not an opportunity to review lab results and get into the weeds on Mr. Trump’s medical history”, the Trump campaign said of the interview. “We have a president who plays so much golf he could be on the PGA tour”. And today, in an interview with The Dr. Oz Show, he said that he supports making birth control available without a prescription. He said that when he’s with Brady, he feels the same age as him.
Dr Bornstein, a gastroenterological specialist at Lenox Hill Hospital in NY, has cared for Mr Trump since 1980, according to the letter.
However, in a show of transparency unequaled by Clinton, Trump released his medical records on Thursday for full scrutiny.
Although the letter provides some insight, it does not include his detailed medical history.

In December, Trump released a short note from his doctor, Dr Harold N. Borstein, describing him as potentially “the healthiest person ever to serve in the White House”.
