Trump calls MI pastor ‘nervous mess’ after she interrupts his speech
The pastor of a church in Flint, Mich., interrupted Donald Trump when the Republican nominee attacked opponent Hillary Clinton.

As Trump ramped up his rhetoric the church’s pastor, Reverend Faith Green Timmons, was able to accomplish something no moderator or pundit has been able to manage the entire election cycle, she forced Trump to stay on message.
“And some of the statements I’ve heard him say about African-Americans and Hispanics have been degrading”, Timmons added. “But she (Timmons) was so nervous”.
“I can only say in the strongest of terms that we can fix this problem”.
In an interview with Fox News Thursday, Trump said Timmons was shaking when she shut down his blistering attack on Clinton.
On Wednesday, Donald Trump spoke at a church in Flint, Michigan in hopes of appealing to black voters, but things got a bit awkward.
According to reports, Rev. Faith Green Timmons of Flint’s Bethel United Methodist Church, who goes by Pastor Faith, quickly approached Trump when his speech started to veer off topic.
“Mr. Trump knew today would be hostile political territory, but he’s running to be president for all Americans, and that means being willing to visit with all communities”, spokesman Jason Miller said in a statement afterward.
Trump began his brief speech with a joke.
“The whole place [Flint] is – not only the water, the water is what – what they did with the water is disgusting”, he said, “but the crime rate and all the other problems they have and people want to see – you know when I use the expression, I say, ‘What do you have to lose?” Trump earlier on Wednesday visited the city’s water plant.
After that, Trump shifted into a version of his now-standard stump speech, blasting free trade deals like NAFTA, and pointing out that then-President Clinton completed the global trade deal.
“Hillary failed with the economy just like she has failed on foreign policy – everything she touched didn’t work out”.
“When she got up to introduce me, she was so nervous”, Trump told the show.
“Oh, oh, OK, OK, OK”.
After a woman shouted out that Trump, who is a real estate magnate, had used discriminatory housing practices in his buildings, he responded: “Never, you’re wrong”.
When Donald Trump met local girl Amariyanna Copeny in Flint, Michigan, he probably didn’t expect the internet to go insane over the pictures – but the little girl’s reaction to seeing the presidential candidate has caused quite a stir, particularly when compared to meeting President Obama back in May.
Trump was also reportedly heckled at the Flint church.
Accusing the pastor of planning to interrupt him is probably not the wisest of moves.

The pointed questions for Trump continued as he wrapped up his remarks, though – and that’s the moment when the press traveling with Trump were hastily escorted out of the room.
