Gundogan set to embellish relentless City
“We try to do absolutely everything to take care of our players in terms of training and the way they eat, their food, their rest – without good vitamins, good food, good drink and good rest you can not compete every few days over 11 months”.

Sergio Aguero is set to sign a one-year extension to his contract with Manchester City, manager Pep Guardiola has confirmed. ‘He’s a good player, no? “I don’t know if it is definitely going to happen but if he stays I will be so, so happy”. So, we can not discuss about his quality. I’m very happy to be back on the field, back in the stadium.
The 28-year-old has previously spoken about rejoining first club Independiente at the end of the five-year deal he signed in 2014 but reports have suggested he will opt for an additional 12 months at the Etihad Stadium.
Under new manager Pep Guardiola City have won all seven of their Premier League and cup games to date in the current campaign, by an overwhelming aggregate score of 21-4.
The Spain global had to be replaced by Ilkay Gundogan for the delayed 4-0 win over Borussia Monchengladbach in the Champions League in midweek after feeling “discomfort” in training and is not expected to return for Saturday’s match at the Etihad Stadium.
Aguero, serving the second game of a three-match ban against Eddie Howe’s Cherries – has already scored nine goals this term.
“According to my style of playing, he is one of the managers that have helped me most in my career”.
“In the Premier League, everybody comes here, but in the Champions League the people don’t come”.
“It gives you a good feeling having so many good players around you – you can only profit from that”.
It may be unrealistic to expect Aguero to overhaul Eric Brook’s City total of 178 this season, but there seems little doubt the former Atletico Madrid forward will get there.

Aguero became the youngest player in the history of the Argentine top flight when he made his Independiente debut in 2003 at just 15. They played really, really well against West Ham and against Manchester United – they were in the game right until Mata scored.
