Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid lashed out at Donald Trump as a “con artist” after the Republican presidential nominee suggested the lawmaker resume exercising with the equipment that left him blind in one eye previous year.

Harry Reid fired back against Donald Trump on Friday, as the two political opponents continue their war of words. “I think he should go back and start working out again with his rubber work-out pieces”.
Reid has picked a fight with Trump in recent days. The statement is a likely reference to Reid’s injury past year, when an exercise band broke, causing him to fall. After reading quotes from the article, Reid said it showed Trump was unsafe and a “con artist”.
“I can’t imagine you folks not being a little inquisitive about what he’s done to cheat people in Atlantic City and everywhere”, Reid said.
“We know how to spot a con artist in Las Vegas”, Reid concluded.
“Trump is a human leech”, he declared, “who will bleed the country and sit and his golf resort laughing at the money he has made”.
On Thursday, the senator took it several steps farther, arguing that Trump is a “spoiled brat” who was born to plenty and expanded his fortune primarily by swindling poor people, the elderly, the working class, children and even his own lawyers. “That slogan offers a peek inside the minds of Donald Trump and his Republican followers here in Congress”. He’s not slim an trim. He brags about eating fast food every day.
Reid called on Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and House Speaker Paul Ryan to lead an investigation into those and other questions “with a fraction of the energy and taxpayer money Congressional Republicans used to pursue Huma Abedin’s maternity leave records”, referring to a top aide to Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.

“You folks have magnified the problems that she has”, Reid told reporters.
