Chance of showers lingers through midweek
Showers and scattered thunderstorms are expected tonight in northeast in and northwest OH, the National Weather Service says. High in the mid 80s. Sunday will start out with some dry weather, but new storms could develop by late in the day.

The cyclone’s sustained winds were clocked at 40 mph, and it was meandering at 5 mph about 220 miles from the Charleston County coastline. Up to a half-inch of rain is possible.
Forecasters, though, warned of moderate rip currents, possibly through Thursday.
“We are not expecting a complete washout either day, but some much needed rainfall is likely”, according to the National Weather Service.
Mon: High: 91 Low: 67 Mostly sunny.
Friday: A slight chance of showers after noon. Cloudy, with a high near 80. Northwest winds up to 9 miles per hour will shift to the south southwest after midnight.
Tonight A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 74. West winds up to 15 miles per hour will shift to the north northwest in the afternoon. South southeast wind 6 to 11 miles per hour. Chance of rain 30%.
Thursday night: Clear, with a low around 56. Thunderstorms that occur across South-Central and Southeast Kansas may produce some small hail, 40-50 miles per hour winds and heavy rains.
At this point, the weekend is looking good with an increasing chance of showers on Sunday. Partly sunny with a high near 85.
However, we are watching out for Sunday to see some showers and a thunderstorm.
