Buffalo Bills Fire Offensive Coordinator Greg Roman 6 Days Into Their Season
According to sources, the Buffalo Bills fired Roman on Friday.

Replacing Roman as offensive coordinator will be assistant head coach and running backs coach Anthony Lynn. He also served as the San Francisco 49ers’ offensive coordinator from 2011 to 2014.
After Thursday night’s 37-31 loss to the New York Jets, the Bills, who haven’t reached the playoffs since 1999, already seem to be a team in turmoil.
Roman’s offense produced just seven points and 160 yards in a Week 1 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Quarterback Tyrod Taylor finished 18-of-30 for 297 yards with three touchdowns and one interception.
The move is a surprising one considering Roman is the highest-paid offensive coordinator in the National Football League, and he wasn’t exactly bad at his job. Unfortunately for Rex, there wasn’t a third Ryan twin to hire on the coaching staff along with brother Rob.

It should also be noted that Dennis Thurman’s defense has given up 400-yards per game so far, which is 24th in the league. If the Bills season continues down a 5-11 path, Ryan could be next on the chopping block.
