As well as this, a plethora of new and interesting features in update 4.00 have been implemented to bolster the PS4 experience, most notably of which is HDR support for all their consoles. With this new feature, players can now organize and arrange their games and apps neatly and access them more conveniently. Installation of the upgrade also brings with it a user interface overhaul, improving the accessibility of the What’s New display, content information screen, and cleans up the quick menus while also adding the ability to control music playlists without closing down your active application. In common with all of the Sony first party demos, the Uncharted 4 PS4 Pro demo operates at a much higher resolution than 1080p (Naughty Dog’s Arne Meyer wouldn’t talk specifics on-site) and it utilises HDR. The main objective of the PS4 Pro is to provide more power for 4K gaming as well as upgraded graphics for 1080p.
