The good news is that the issue is apparently solved.

First, a caveat. If you have anything older than iPhone 5, you’re out of luck.

In iOS 10, Apple has changed the way you unlock your phone. This is Apple’s subtle (or maybe not so subtle) way of saying it’s time to move on.

It seems like we have been waiting months for the iOS 10 but it has now finally arrived.

Older iPads are also cut off.

Talking of email, iOS 10 Mail now attempts to identify messages from mailing lists and presents an unsubscribe link at top of screen.

We’ve all had that moment where we’ve tried to zoom-in with our iPhone’s camera in order to use it as a magnifying glass, but thanks to iOS 10, it’s become an official thing.

To unlock your phone, you would normally swipe to the right across the Unlock screen. Meanwhile, the company’s CEO Neville Ray said the problem should be fixed within 48 hours and offered a temporary solution for those who have already downloaded the update: every time you lose your connection, completely restart your phone. And you can change those widgets to your liking.

Major iOS releases will typically drain the power on your device much faster during the first few days of use. But there’s a lot to like.

App Widgets Shortcut: 3D Touch on an app that supports widgets and you will get a preview of the widget and the option to quickly add it, along with the usual 3D Touch shortcuts. Siri will now help iPhone users send WhatsApp messages.

You should also make sure you turn Wi-Fi on when you can easily connect to a Wi-Fi network, and turn off cellular data.

Unfortunately, some of the features are not easy to find.

So now, you can ask Siri to get you a cab with Grab, or pick out a certain workout you plan on doing. This lets you react to a friends message with a thumbs up, for example (similar to a Facebook post), to let them know you’ve seen their message without triggering a full-blown notification. Apple does this by using machine-learning- so-called “deep learning”- algorithms that analyze the images. All you have to do is, open up Siri and say “Siri, get me an Uber” and Siri will take you to a conversation to understand what type of ride you would actually want. Overall, it was very impressive, though. Apple’s digital assistant is expected to be more functional than ever, that is if more apps will be able to integrate them.
