Just to be clear on that, Apple opted not to include that configuration in the standard iPhone 7.

Do-it-yourself fix site iFixit, best known for its comprehensive teardowns with the help of a few friends, got its hands on an iPhone 7 Plus out of Tokyo on Friday. But across Singapore, there were few queues because the major telcos ensure that all pre-order customers receive a phone.
The company’s India website said the iPhone 7 32 GB will retail at Rs 60,000 and the iPhone 7 Plus 32GB is priced at Rs 72,000.
Yet in markets like China, online interest in the new phone has also been muted compared to past launches, as cheaper local brands amp up their features, design and marketing.
As for the iPhone 7 Plus and the jet black iPhone 7, Apple says that they have already sold out ahead of today’s in-store release, even leaving some standing in line for days high and dry.

“It was 100 percent worth it”, said Marcus Barsoum, a 16-year-old “diehard Apple fan” who spent two nights camped outside the Sydney store.
The iPhone 7 Plus has perks absent from the smaller iPhone 7, including a dual-lens rear camera.

“I’m certainly not one of the hard core Apple fans but I think the bigger capacity, better battery, better camera, that’s enough to make the jump”, he said.

iFixIt notes that the screen now opens to the side after removing the adhesive strip and the Pentalobes and adds that the amount of glue that the firm used on the device shows a particular focus on waterproofing.
