Ryan Gosling gushes about his daughters: ‘They are angels’
Given how magnetic these two are together, and how they elevate just about every film they’re in by simply existing next to one another, we were obviously psyched to hear that there is a brand-new Gosling/Stone collaboration coming down the pipeline – La La Land, a romantic musical comedy-drama from the director of the incredible Whiplash.

“La La Land” is written and directed by Damien Chazelle and will hit theatres on December 16.
In addition to his blossoming family, Gosling, 35, is also celebrating the early success of his new film,”La La Land”, which he stars in alongside longtime co-star Emma Stone. His first film “Whiplash”, an intense study of a jazz drummer’s quest to perfection, won three Oscars. In the mean time, both actors have already showcased their singing voices in the film’s latest trailers.
Stone says she was focused in the beginning on nailing down what the tone of the movie was going to be, adding, “I couldn’t fully understand what was gonna be anamorphic [animation] and what was gonna feel a bit more grounded and realistic, and I think that Damien balanced that incredibly well”. While on the red carpet for the movie at the Princess of Whales Theatre, Ryan Gosling said that they had worked on two films together, with La La Land marking their third and that it ends up being great working with people who one has become familiar with.
Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling charmed fans on the red carpet Monday. “It’s very accessible”, Gosling said.
The actor made it clear that this is one of the reasons that they all get along so well.
Meanwhile, Stone couldn’t help but gush over her hunky co-star.

“I just think he’s great”, the actress said when asked about her co-star. “He’s a fantastic actor and it’s just so much fun to work with him and that’s kind of all there is to it”.
