GMA Airs Exclusive Video of Protesters Rushing Ryan Lochte During Dancing Premiere
Ryan Lochte has broken his silence on the incident that occurred during Monday’s episode of Dancing With the Stars, when two men rushed the stage after the disgraced Olympian’s performance.

Ryan Lochte says he feels “a little hurt” after being involved in an incident on “Dancing with the Stars” that prompted producers to cut to a commercial.
Two men wearing “Anti-Lochte” T-shirts disrupted the live “Dancing with the Stars” premiere in California Monday night. “A little hurt, but I came out here, and I wanted to do something that I’m completely not comfortable with, and I did, and I came out here with a big smile, and I have the best dance partner”.
The two protesters were being held pending charges of suspicion of trespassing.
Last month, Lochte was charged with making false report of robbery after claiming that he and three fellow USA swimmers were robbed at gunpoint after competing at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Host Tom Bergeron then quickly tossed to a commercial break.
He also asked Lochte how he was doing after the interruption. ABC said four to five other women were escorted out of the audience after chanting against Lochte. Bergeron thanked the security team on the show. The Olympic swimmer admitted he “over-exaggerated” claims that he and fellow teammates were robbed at gunpoint during the 2016 Olympics.
“I want the world to know, I want America to know, that we don’t take what he did lightly”, Soroudi said.
The 12-time Olympic medalist is the most high profile celebrity on the 23rd season of “Dancing With the Stars”, which has been a popular venue for those seeking a comeback or trying to change their image.
Although the incident occurred off-camera while Lochte and his dancing partner, Cheryl Burke, were receiving their critiques from the judges, multiple audience members took to social media nearly immediately following, including Robert Mills, ABC’s head of alternative programming.

According to ESPN, the ambush happened while Lochte and his partner Cheryl Burke were being given feedback by DWTS judge Carrie Ann Inaba.
