Elena Delle Donne stars in new Gatorade digital short
Reigning WNBA MVP Elena Delle Donne will be out indefinitely, as she is set to have surgery to fix a right thumb injury, the Chicago Sky announced. She had surgery Tuesday and is questionable for the playoffs.

Delle Donne, the Ursuline Academy and University of DE grad who was 2015 WNBA MVP, is averaging 21.5 points, second in the league, and 7.0 rebounds per game. The WNBA playoffs are set to begin September 21. Although they have already clinched a playoff spot, they will jockey for position against the Indiana Fever and Atlanta Dream over the next week.
