USA first lady Michelle Obama has taken to the stage in support of Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

Trump, who has the endorsement of the National Rifle Association, eventually took to Twitter to say the Secret Service had not contacted him about the remarks. The sign was a reference to Ms Clinton’s labeling half of his supporters a “basket of deplorables”, a comment she later said she regretted. “There is no erasing it in history”.
As late as Wednesday, Trump was refusing to acknowledge Obama was born in Hawaii, saying in an interview that he’d “answer that question at the right time”. Mr. Trump is in a tight race against Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton as the November 8th election nears.
“Hillary Clinton in her campaign of 2008 started the birther controversy”.
Asked in the Oval Office about the renewed birther controversy Friday, President Obama gave the question short shrift, making a dig at the USA media and its obsessive coverage of Trump.
“Welcome to all of you deplorables”, Trump said.
“While they waited, and waited, Trump provided what amounted to a campaign infomercial and shamelessly promoted his new Trump International Hotel in downtown Washington”, the daily said.
“He’s feeding into the worst impulses, the bigotry and bias that lurks in our country”, she added.
“Barack Obama was born in America, plain and simple, and Donald Trump owes him and the American people an apology”.
However, she has never argued in favour of overturning the Second Amendment.
The Clinton campaign reacted quickly, with spokesman Robby Mook saying Mr Trump “has a pattern of inciting people to violence. Because here is what we know: that being president isn’t anything like reality TV”, Mrs. Obama said, referring to Trump, a former reality television host.
“There is no new Donald Trump”.
Unlike her husband, who forged a strong bond with Clinton during her four years as his secretary of state, Mrs. Obama does not have a particularly close relationship with the Democratic nominee, though the two are said to be friendly.
In fact, Trump repeatedly continued to question Obama’s birth in the years after the president released his birth certificate. Think about how unsafe that is. Imagine someone who distorts the truth to fit a very narrow view of the world.
“Trump has spent years peddling a racist conspiracy aimed at undermining the first African-American president”, Clinton tweeted after his event.
“We can not become insensitive to what he says and what he stirs up”. We can’t just accept this. She joked that they had to make sure the White House was cleaned up so they could get their security deposit back. “If we don’t, it won’t stop”.
Within minutes, the Clinton campaign condemned the remark. “Period, end of story”, she said.
“That is what women do every single day”, Clinton said. “Life has shown us we do have to work harder at the office, while still bearing most of the responsibilities at home, that we always need to keep going because our families and our communities count on us”. OK, no they should immediately disarm and let’s see how good they do.

“I am shocked that a question like that would come up at a time when we have so many other things to do”, he said, before adding “Well, I am not that shocked”.
