‘Vikings’ Season 4 Return Date Officially Confirmed As November 30

History’s popular TV series Vikings will return in just over two months’ time, with the second half of Season 4 set to premiere on Wednesday, November 30 at 9pm ET/PT. Moreover, Ragnar still has some unfinished business to settle with the cunning king of Wessex, King Ecbert (Linus Roache) and his son, who massacred the Nordic people that were given settlement in their territory. Meanwhile, Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick) plans a power play in Kattegat and Bjorn (Alexander Ludwig) prepares to fulfill his long-held dream to explore the Mediterranean in a sleek new boat built for him by Floki (Gustaf Skarsg?rd).

Series creator Michael Hirst also discussed a few details regarding Season 4’s second half, commenting that this might be the biggest season yet for the show. The final moments of season 4A were rather full of promising developments and fans couldn’t wait anymore for the return of the show.

But good news for fans of Nordic myths, bloodthirsty warriors and epic battles: season 4 will be returning on November 30. If this is the case, the show will still continue on.

Creator and sole writer Michael Hirst is now overseeing production of season five in Ireland as the cast welcomes Golden Globe Award victor Jonathan Rhys Meyers (The Tudors) in a still undisclosed role.

Since Season 4’s debut, “Vikings” drew 4.3 million total viewers during its 10-week run, with 2.1 million viewers categorized under the 25-54 year-old bracket, and the other 2.2 million categorized under the 18 – 49 year-old demographic.
