Emmanuel Adebayor’s free transfer to Lyon is back on despite initial talks breaking down earlier this week, according to a report.
Adebayor last played for Premier League side Crystal Palace, where he spent five months from January to June making seven appearances and scoring one goal.
“I have many questions to ask him, especially concerning his time at Crystal Palace”. Genesio said. “I need to know his motivation and to find more about him”.
“It will not be an interview but a conversation to get a real idea of the player and the man”. He has come to Lyon and I’ll meet him, then we’ll see what happens. “That’s very important in my eyes”.
“When signing a player there is always an element of doubt”.
The French club was initially keen on signing the 32-year-old Togo forward following a string of injuries to key players, including star striker Alexandre Lacazette.
“The transfer window is shut and so we’re talking about players who are out of contract for various reasons”, the coach continued.

“We can always review our choices in a negative way but the final decision will be taken for the good of the team”.
