Doctor Says Clinton ‘Fit To Serve’ Ahead Of Campaign Comeback
“She continues to remain healthy and fit to serve as President of the United States”. “Hillary Clinton’s release of updated medical information today meets a standard followed by presidential candidates like Barack Obama and Mitt Romney”.

Ahead of Trump’s visit, protesters conveyed a brief press conference outside of Flint’s water plant, where many expressed dismay at what they described as the nominee’s attempt to use the city’s public health crisis as a “campaign prop”.
Trump, after releasing his health information, spent Thursday laying out plans to lower taxes by $4.4 trillion over a decade and cut regulations, including some of those now meant to protect the food Americans eat and the air they breathe The Republican said his plans would raise the nation’s economic growth rate to at least 3.5 percent, well above its current rate of about 2 percent, and create 25 million new jobs over the next 10 years. That came a day after Clinton made public a letter from her physician with similar information.
She is expected to return to the campaign trail later this week.
The letter from Clinton’s doctor made no mention of her weight, a key part of any medical exam, nor did a similar letter released a year ago.
Clinton’s diagnosis came to light on Sunday after she became overheated and dehydrated at a September 11 memorial service in New York City.
All of those plans fell through when Clinton stumbled at the 9/11 memorial ceremony on Sunday, and it’s not clear when the campaign will reschedule those events.
The letter from Clinton’s doctor made no mention of her weight, a key part of any medical exam, nor did a similar letter released past year.
It is an eight-paragraph letter signed by her doctor Lisa Bardack and dated July 2015. She was treated with a 10-day course of Levaquin, an antibiotic used to treat infections. Clinton saw double for a couple of weeks, but later received an all-clear. She also stated the first female presidential nominee takes medication for an under-active thyroid, the blood thinner Coumadin, allergy medication and vitamin B12 as needed.
A checkup in 2013 showed complete resolution of all the effects of the blood clot and the thrombosis was gone completely, the doctor wrote.
The oldest president to take office was Ronald Reagan, who was almost 70 when he was sworn in.
Clinton has blood pressure of 100 over 70.
If Trump, 70, wins the November 8 election, he would be the oldest person to be elected USA president.
He recently disclosed that he dashed off the paragraphs in five minutes as a limo waited to deliver the document to Trump.
Clinton was diagnosed with pneumonia on Friday but made a decision to continue on the trail.
He was scheduled to appear on “The Dr. Oz Show”, a medical-themed talk show, on Thursday, US media reports said. In Iowa, Republicans prevented Democrats from surpassing them, aided by a court ruling upholding a ban on voting by ex-felons, who often register as Democrats.
Given those built-in advantages and Trumps weaknesses, some Democrats say their biggest fear is complacency making the tightening of the race not such a bad development.
Or members of Congress could vet the information, he added.
“We need to stand up and repudiate divisive rhetoric”, she said.
“Even in the U.S., where we have the endless belief in our right to know the personal about our political candidates, health at some point becomes somewhat of a limit”, he said. He wished her well and did not repeat questions he has previously raised about whether the former secretary of state has the strength and stamina to be president.
