Yep. Way better than Russell Wilson. He finds a way to avoid taking big shots from opposing defenders most of the time.

Wilson was injured in the third quarter while being sacked by Ndamukong Suh, his foot and ankle twisting awkwardly as he went down.

Seattle’s quarterback could end up missing Week Two of football.

Undrafted rookie Trevone Boykin is the only other QB on the roster.

A 2006 second-round draft pick by the Vikings, Jackson started 20 games for the Vikings in five seasons.

“No shot”, he said. “But I think we’re going to do our best in the community of Seattle to improve that relationship”. “We have to find a way to win”.

Wilson went on to say that there “wasn’t a flawless answer” and that he “understands the cause”. “We just taped him up and sent him on back out. I have great confidence in Jordan”.

Well I mean at least when the 40 fans come over from Moscow, maybe it will be a little tougher to listen to Mike Leach berate his team and call them a bunch of junior college softball players. But two years before that, Tom Brady and the Pats came into the Clink and were early victims of Russell Wilson’s late-game heroics.

“When I’m 43, 44 years old and still playing, that’s probably what I’ll look like out there”, Wilson said.

Carroll expressed little doubt that Wilson will play Sunday at Los Angeles, as well.

Wilson’s pain threshold and ability to play through injury and discomfort is becoming legendary around the Seahawks.

“He’s pretty good. He’s not in a boot”. RB Arian Foster didn’t practice Wednesday and that may become a weekly occurrence, part of his maintenance after recovering from a torn Achilles.

After the Seahawks had been surprisingly stagnant all game, save for a quick drive at the end of the first half for a field goal, Wilson led Seattle 75 yards in 14 plays to score the winning touchdown.

Despite early success and only down by three points, Adam Gase and new offensive coordinator Clyde Christensen chose to completely abandon the run in the second half, allowing Seattle to pin their ears back and hunt Tannehill down like a dog. However, his backfield opportunities evaporated due to the injury. “We weren’t sure what he could do”, Seattle coach Pete Carroll said. TE Jimmy Graham was active and played just 17 snaps for the Seahawks.
