Putin: US campaign shows Russia’s importance

The US and Russian Federation are managing a very sensitive peace treaty with Syria right now, and if that goes well they may even begin intelligence cooperation to fight Islamic State by early next week.

Trump previously said he favors better relations with Russian Federation and has described Putin as a “strong” leader.

However the two agreed on Friday to extend the ceasefire and Putin said that Russian Federation would abide by its own commitments and still believed that securing a Syrian ceasefire was a common goal for both Washington and Moscow.

The US has voiced concern about delays in providing humanitarian aid to Aleppo and other besieged areas. “I mean this guy has done – whether you like him or don’t like him – he’s doing a great job in rebuilding the image of Russian Federation”.

The Russian media faces regular censorship and there are few independent sources of news. So naturally, conservatives supporters like Hugh Hewitt, Dinesh Dsouza, and many others, felt compelled to praise the effectiveness of the Russian strongman – especially when compared to Barack Obama.

“Think about what’s happened to the Republican Party”.

Obama’s intervention sparked an angry response by Moscow – which Democrats will likely welcome, since it plays into their claim that the Kremlin would prefer a friendly Trump rather than a hostile Clinton as president.

Peskov bemoaned the “Russian card and the card of our president” being used as “an nearly decisive one in the United States electoral process”. “I’m not even campaigning for myself here, but for the elections themselves”.

Recent reports of email infiltration include former secretary of state Colin Powell.

Putin is a unsafe thug who is working against USA interests, who jails his opponents and whose regime has been linked to the deaths of journalists and political rivals. I don’t think he should be a moderator. That should make Americans worry, no matter what their politics.

The Russian president has also made no secret that his core political project is undermining Western political, diplomatic and military institutions in order to restore what he sees as Russia’s rightful place as a global great power.

Putin is seeking revenge and respect, and trying to reassert Russia’s lost superpower status at a time of waning economic clout and an upcoming Russian election, according to interviews with specialists here and, in Washington, with a senior US intelligence official, recently retired CIA operations officers in charge of Russia and the last three national intelligence officers for Russia and Eurasia analysis in the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. It’s basically a coarser version of Obama’s contention (no, I’m not saying Putin and Obama are the same) that he has a moral duty to circumvent the legislation process on issues he finds particularly important.
