Trump proposes disarming Clinton guards: ‘Let’s see what happens to her’
Robby Mook, Clinton’s campaign manager said the comment amounted to “inciting people to violence”.

In justifying his remarks, Mr. Trump falsely claimed that Mrs. Clinton wants to “destroy your Second Amendment”, apparently a reference to her gun control policies. “So I think that, in addition to calling for them to name judges, we’ll also call them and let their body guards immediately disarm”. What do you think? Yes? Yes. Lets see what happens to her, he added. “Take their guns away, okay?”
“Take their guns away, OK? Okay, it would be very unsafe”.
Hours earlier, Trump stated for the first time that the president was born in the United States, though he did not apologize for devoting years to promoting false allegations that Obama was not an American citizen.
Donald Trump has said that bodyguards assigned to his rival Hillary Clinton should “disarm immediately” and “see what happens”. “I finished it”, Trump said.
The Clinton campaign on Friday made a similar effort to deny accusations about spreading the birth issue in 2008 – when Clinton was in a hard-fought race with Obama for the Democratic presidential nomination.
In his brief statement – little more than 30 seconds – the Republican nominee also blamed Democratic rival Hillary Clinton for starting “birther” rumors during the 2008 primary against Obama, but there is no factual basis for that claim.
Not surprisingly, the comments – which elicited a big cheer from the crowd – were apparently not in Trump’s campaign-prepared remarks. His implied call to “Second Amendment people” to use the remedy of violence and assassination resulted in condemnation even from within his own party.
Mr Trump toyed with the media, flagging a “major statement” at a morning press conference in the “Presidential Ballroom” of his new Washington hotel on Pennsylvania Avenue, four blocks from the house he hopes to make his home for the next four years in the November 8th election.
Trump later disputed that criticism, saying everyone in his audience knew he was referring to the power of voters and “there can be no other interpretation”.
Donald Trump’s renouncement of birtherism came with some media gamesmanship that compelled television news networks to air 20 minutes of endorsements by retired military men before the candidate briefly got to the point.
USA first lady Michelle Obama has taken to the stage in support of Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.
Speaking at a campaign event in Washington, he said: “President Barack Obama was born in the United States, period”.
Reporting from Virginia, euronews correspondent Stefan Grobe said: “At this point in the campaign, there is hardly a more effective surrogate for Hillary Clinton than someone whose name is Obama”. In 2011, Trump has gained everyone’s attention, when he expressed that he did not believe the President was born in the United State, according to “CBS” news.
Trump says at a Miami rally that those demands will include religious and political freedom for the Cuban people and the freeing of all political prisoners.
Mr Trump says he will “stand with the Cuban people in their fight against communist oppression”.
