Putin Says US Campaign Shows Russia’s Importance
In just 15 years, the Republican Party has had a president who famously claimed a soul-to-soul relationship with Vladimir Putin … followed by two consecutive nominees who took a starkly hawkish stance on Russian Federation … and now a presidential candidate in Donald Trump who has a palpable man-crush on Putin and promises closer ties with his regime.

He said, “I think, you know, if we before the election, if we have a chance to look at Donald Trump’s taxes, maybe we’ll find some answers, because obviously, you know, he has some reasons to praise Putin”. And it begs the question of why Russian Federation would take this perilous extra step.
There is no question that a number of US actions since the fall of the Soviet Union-such as the eastward expansion of NATO-have been unnecessarily provocative toward Russian Federation, contributing to the ultra-nationalism that Putin has stirred up.
Central Intelligence Agency officers are not known for liberal leanings. Dictator by definition is a strong man, a strong leader.
Trump was at his best – faint praise – in a scripted speech last week on national security that was full of standard Republican boilerplate. Unfortunately, that’s much of Trump’s appeal, Harsanyi fears.
Back in July, when Donald Trump suggested that he might not defend North Atlantic Treaty Organisation allies if they are attacked by Russia, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell chalked it up to a “rookie mistake”.
Trump’s comments suggest that he is still not ready for prime time – and never will be.
“Putin does not believe that Hillary Clinton will be easy on Russian Federation”.
“Trump is a dealmaker, and I can’t imagine that he would be doing this [promoting policies favorable to Russia] unless there was something in it for him”.
And the doctor recommended that the Clinton campaign team get a toxicological analysis of her blood carried out, on the suspicion that she may have been poisoned. In a video that quickly spread across the web, Putin is seen crossing the Red Square in Moscow surrounded by his usual entourage, when suddenly a group of excited brides ask him to take a selfie with them – and the Russian President agrees.
Putin has so far refused to publicly endorse either candidate.
But the real twist in this latest psychological operation against Russia is that Clinton’s health impact has nothing to do with alleged poisoning by Russian agents.
“Think about what’s happened to the Republican Party”.
“We’re just getting out the vote!” she said in an interview with The Moscow Times.
“And now their nominee is out there praising a guy, saying, ‘He’s a strong leader because he invades smaller countries, jails his opponents, controls the press and drives his economy into a long recession'”.
The Kremlin has accused President Barack Obama of playing the “Russia card” as a political tool against Donald Trump.
According to the analyst, the United States government will not “interfere in Putin’s personal life”.
Peskov bemoaned the “Russian card and the card of our president” being used as “an nearly decisive one in the USA electoral process”. During the Cold War, we were (mostly) a status quo power – practicing containment, building intricate alliance networks, propping up bad actors for fear of something worse – and the Russians were the revisionists, promoting socialist revolution from Havana to Hanoi. The Kremlin has vehemently denied involvement. Obama, who has had hard relations with Putin, stands down in January.
It’s those kind of statements that make Ron Harmon shudder.
The Republican nominee has also been questioned about his business ties to Russia, but it’s still unclear whether Russian business interests have invested in his projects. He’s also made clear his belief that the United States and its European allies have conspired against Russian interests in Georgia, Ukraine, Libya and Syria.

While Hillary Clinton, confronted with her appreciation for secrecy in communications, did not come away unscathed, Trump simply flunked on a number of fronts. I’d hate to see what he or any other president would do with even more control. Take Putin’s actions in Ukraine. He has said that Russia is the only nation in the world that can reduce the United States to volcanic ash; has routinely attacked gay people; and is personally facing European Union sanctions for his vociferous support of Russian’s occupation of the Crimea.
