Carmichael handled play calling for the final nine regular season games, when the Saints went 8-1 and scored 40-plus points five times, topping out at 62 once. In the Oakland Raiders’ win, quarterback Derek Carr was able to have a great game through the air against the Saints’ defense.

On Sunday, the New Jersey native comes home to MetLife Stadium. “We need to get him moving where he can’t get the full range of the field and get him uncertain to where he’s throwing balls up that we can go get”.

It hasn’t taken long for the Raiders to get a pretty good feel for how teams plan to counter the tandem of Khalil Mack and Bruce Irvin. The Giants are 49-39-3 in home openers.
