Perhaps the more disappointing news would be the fact that CD Projekt Red doesn’t seem to have any plans to upgrade the experience on the PS4 Pro. We don’t think that the game is going to be released in 2017, but CD Projekt Red said that some fans believe that this is exactly when the game might be launched.

Sad news for The Witcher and PlayStation fans, CD Projekt Red has made it pretty clear that now, they have no plan for giving The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt a PlayStation 4 Pro treatment.
CD Project Red has released a Game of the Year edition of the game recently that featured all the updates and expansions for the game on disc. They are rather wrapped up in a little something called Cyberpunk 2077 as well as GWENT: The Witcher Card Game.

The reason that they gave for ignoring PS4 Pro is that their developers are now focused on Gwent: The Witcher Card Game and Cyberpunk 2077. “We want to be entirely focused on the development of these projects”. Fans were recently treated to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt: Game of the Year Edition last August 30.
