Miss Mississippi has full wardrobe for Miss America pageant

Miss Nebraska, Aleah Peters, wowed the audience with her baton twirling skills, and Miss Connecticut, Alyssa Rae Taglia, impressed with her high kicks.
Miss Missouri, Erin O’ Flaherty, will compete for the Miss America crown this weekend as the first openly lesbian contestant.
The first night of preliminary competition in the pageant is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept.
Bullying, suicide prevention, support for the military and helping both children and the elderly figured prominently in the contestants’ onstage interviews.
“It pays for those mortgages and auto payments so all their attention is on these children who have cancer”, she said.
The competition includes contestants from all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.
