“That’s good. And I’m going to go back onto Flint. OK”.

In a town like Flint, which faced heavy protest after learning Trump would be arriving, it takes more than baseless platitudes about corruption in America to win their support.

But that didn’t stop Trump from lashing out at Timmons this morning on Fox. So she had that in mind, there’s no question.

Trump was delivering a speech at Bethel United Methodist Church on Wednesday, speaking on the economy and Flint’s water crisis.

The visit was part of the campaign’s effort to persuade voters that the celebrity businessman can appear empathetic and presidential in a crisis. Let him speak, ‘ ” Mr. Trump said. “I noticed she was so nervous when she introduced me”.

Trump ended his speech a few moments later, as Timmons, who’d returned to the audience, continued to speak to him.

“Now I understand there are going to be some people in these communities who aren’t planning on voting for me, and that’s OK”, he said. “I’ll tell you what made me feel good – the audience was saying, ‘Let him speak, let him speak.’ And the audience was so great…but she was so nervous, she was like a nervous mess, so I figured something was up”.

“Thank you. Thank you, Pastor”, Trump responded.

“But she was so nervous”.

Trump began his brief speech with a joke.

“I am a person of integrity, and when you come to me and say what your desire is – I honor that desire”, says Green-Timmons.

Something wasn’t up, according to Pastor Faith, who simply stated that she wanted to keep Trump on task.

According to CNN, the NY real estate developer was visiting the MI city to view its water crisis while also extending his recent outreach to African-American voters, who across the United States largely favor Clinton.

“First of all, it would have never happened [under a Trump administration], because it was so ridiculous”, Trump told NBC25-FOX66 news anchor Dave Bondy after touring the facility that has not been operational since last fall. “What they did with the water is frightful, but the crime rate and all the other problems they have”, Trump said.
