Donald Trump’s campaign said Thursday night the Republican presidential candidate now believes President Barack Obama was born in the United States. He doesn’t use tobacco or alcohol.

Donald Trump’s latest examination results have been released today, after it was promised to be revealed on the Dr Oz show. The new letter details a candidate free of any health-related red flags and will put yet more pressure on the Clinton campaign, which seems determined to hide the true extent of Hillary Clinton’s health problems. “If there’s one thing I’d like to do is lose a little weight, but that’s tough considering the life that I leave”, the candidate says in an excerpt from an episode of the Dr. Oz medical show to be broadcast Thursday. Trump said it was two pages of tests done recently and a report from Lenox Hill Hospital.

Thursday’s letter doesn’t disclose any previous health conditions Trump has had, except that his only hospitalization was for a childhood appendectomy.

He had also written a letter on Trump’s health last month.

With regard to Trump’s heart, Bornstein writes that “his cardiac evaluation included a transthoracic echocardiogram” in December 2014 and “this study was reported within the range of normal”. We won’t really know until more data comes in, and even if it’s true, it is the sort of thing that might fade quickly – say, the next time Trump says something weird. “I just don’t want to answer it yet”.

Clinton released a letter from her physician, Dr. Lisa Bardack, on Wednesday that said, in part, that Clinton is “healthy and fit to serve as president of the United States”.

According to the results of a recent physical, Trump’s cholesterol is charted at 169, with an HDL level of 63 and a LDL level of 94.

“I’ve always said this was going to be a tight race”, Mrs Clinton said at a news conference following a speech to a supportive crowd in Greensboro, North Carolina.

In a radio interview on Wednesday, the eldest son of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump casually joked that journalists would “be warming up the gas chamber” if Republicans behaved like Hillary Clinton.

“It appeared that your running mate, Tim Kaine, may not have been aware of your pneumonia on Friday”, Associated Press reporter Julie Pace said in her question to Clinton.

Earlier this week, Kaine declined to say when informed of her pneumonia.
