Elder Scrolls Online runs at native 4K on PS4 Pro

A new, slimmer and more energy efficient PlayStation®4 also was announced and will launch starting on September 15, 2016 for $299.

The PlayStation 4 Pro, which is targeted at more serious gamers and features a 1TB hard drive, will be available starting November 10 and will cost $399.

Sony says: “You can check PlayStation Store for games that take advantage of PS4 Pro specific features, or look for the PS4 Pro Enhanced icon on software packaging”.

It means you’ll have lots of options if you’re looking to get into the world of PlayStation 4. The positives are great, but the negatives have given us reason to be concerned about the PlayStation 4 Pro.

When asked about the HDR support, especially since not many HDR TVs are leaving shelves, Cerny said that HDR did have a long ways to go. Their claim is that the Xbox One S console can actually play 4K blurays seamlessly whereas PS4 Slim and the even the Pro can’t play it as it doesn’t have the capability to do so. The PlayStation VR headset will be launching during the middle of next month on October 13th and will be available to purchase for $400.
