Olympic bad-boy Ryan Lochte targeted at ‘Dancing with the Stars’

Lochte has been the subject of scrutiny ever since he was caught lying about an incident with police in Rio de Janeiro during the recent Summer Olympics.

After his description of the events was called into question, Lochte later walked it back, and said he “over-exaggerated” what happened, and that he was intoxicated.

“It’s hard. I’m getting over it though”, Lochte said of the incident afterwards to E!

ABC News reported that two men got on the ballroom dance floor and at least four other people yelled anti-Lochte chants.

The protesters who ambushed Ryan Lochte on “Dancing with the Stars” are defending their actions after being released from jail. However, the protesters were immediately tackled by security guards.

Last month, Lochte was charged with making false report of robbery after claiming that he and three fellow USA swimmers were robbed at gunpoint after competing at the 2016 Summer Olympics.

An officer from the Los Angeles Police Department declared the two men, Sam Sododeh, 48 years old, and Barzeen Soroudi, 40, had tickets with places on the ABC show.

Viewers watching the live telecast could hear a commotion off-camera while judge Carrie Ann Inaba was giving her critique of Lochte’s dance. When “DWTS” returned, Bergeron described the situation as “a little incident” and thanked the show’s security for “staying in shape”. Video later emerged that showed the man who pointed a gun at Lochte was actually a gas station employee.

“They were arrested on trespassing, this was a private person’s arrest as the security at the venue made the arrest”, an LAPD spokesperson told CNN. Host Tom Bergeron then quickly tossed to a commercial break. “A little hurt but, you know, I came out here and wanted to do something that I’m completely not comfortable with and I did and I came out here with a big smile”. “It was really unnerving and again, I applaud our security team for making it very short”.
