‘Bridget Jones’s Baby’ review: Renee Zellweger brings back beloved character in
All three leads are perfectly capable of handling both the comedic situations and heartfelt, touching scenes easily and there are some hilarious psychical comedy moments, such as them both trying to get Bridget to the hospital.

Bridget Jones’s Baby is rated 14A.
Meanwhile, the 47-year-old actress previously insisted she “learned a lot” during her break.
Bridget Jones is back! “And what I hadn’t learned at that point and should have a long, long time ago – but for some of us takes a little bit longer – is how to take care of myself with respect to acknowledging limitations and boundaries”, she said. The film begins with Bridget Jones (Renee Zellweger) living a modestly-fulfilling but lonely life – in her mid-40s, still single, and working as a producer on a television news program.
“People are growing up with Bridget and growing older with Bridget.there’s a potential of taking her all through her life and that would be fun to be a part of that journey sure”.
In this sequel, Bridget meets a new guy – Jack – and an old love – Mr. Darcy. Sorely missed, though, is Daniel Cleaver (Hugh Grant) – although you find out what happened to him. Now, here comes Jack Qwant, who seems to be the opposite of Mark.
Like her forthcoming offspring, it isn’t as if anyone except Comcast shareholders begged for Bridget Jones’s Baby, but now that it has arrived it’s easy to be charmed by it. “Like laughing, driving to Sony, because Tom Cruise is there”, she said. She grew a human with that body.
‘Bridget Jones’s Baby’ is in United Kingdom cinemas from Friday September 16. The script that lured him in had numerous same elements: Bridget was still a little ditzy and Darcy was still a little cold and reserved. She looks revitalized and real and ready to be back.
Yet it works because Zellweger makes it work, and director Sharon Maguire, who directed the first “Bridget Jones’s Diary” in 2001, provides a warmth and comfort that elevates it beyond its sitcom scenarios.
As for whether there should be a fourth movie, she adds: “I think it’s the right time to leave them, as I can’t imagine bettering the film”. They are absolutely gorgeous and three-dimensional characters and they’re not 20.
It’s lovely to see two such eligible bachelors competing for a woman who’s over 40. Shockingly, it seems as though Bridget has learned to live in the moment. Never once does the film treat the child inside Bridget like a burden, but rather the situation she finds herself in.
