Clinton’s doctor: She is fit to serve as president

Clinton’s campaign responded with a new letter from her doctor Wednesday declaring her “fit to serve” as president and recovering well from her recent illness.

The letter says the illness stemmed from a bout of seasonal allergies that developed into an upper respiratory tract infection and cough.

The fact that Trump’s physician’s letter references “stamina” is significant because it’s a word the Republican presidential nominee has regularly used in attacking Clinton.

Health issues have dominated the race for November’s election since a dizzy spell forced Mrs Clinton, 68, to leave a 9/11 ceremony in NY on Sunday. She has also expressed regret for failing to follow her doctor’s orders for several days of rest.

‘The remainder of her complete physical exam was normal and she is in excellent mental condition, ‘ the letter said.

The letter, from Clinton’s doctor, Lisa Bardack, is meant to put to rest concerns about the Democratic presidential nominee’s health after the illness caused her to stumble out of a memorial service Sunday and forced her off the campaign trail for days.

The former secretary of state received a chest CT scan last Friday, which revealed that she was suffering from a non-contagious form of bacterial pneumonia, campaign officials said. She insisted her campaign was still in a “strong position” and focused on voter registration, motivation, and turnout-the fundamental aspects of prevailing in a close contest.

Clinton, 68, has blood pressure of 100 over 70. Mr Trump is expected to release more medical information about his own health this week.

“President Barack Obama was born in the United States, period”, Trump declared, enunciating each word in a brief statement at the end of a campaign appearance.

She asserted that when it comes to public service, she is better at the service bit than the public bit.

Trump: no medical records The promise made on Sunday was to release an extensive batch of recent medical tests, which the Democrats have been asking him to do throughout the campaign.

Clinton has spent the past three days out of the public eye, recuperating at her suburban NY home.

Daughter Chelsea Clinton said as much this week when she campaigned for her mom at Wake Forest University, saying, “I think a lot of people, particularly a lot of women, can empathize with that feeling of, ugh, like I might be sick, but you’ve got to keep going, you’ve got to keep doing whatever you’re doing because it is so important”.

Dr Bardack has evaluated the former USA secretary of state several times, including on Wednesday, after a chest scan on Friday detected her pneumonia. She takes a thyroid medication and a blood thinner, Coumadin. “It’s a insane time we live in, you know, when people think there’s something unusual about getting the flu”.

“I’ll answer that question at the right time”, Trump said when asked whether he believes Obama was born in Hawaii. Before releasing the new details to the public, Trump turned over a copy to Dr. Mehmet Oz while taping an episode of Oz’s TV show.

Doctor Lisa Bardack says Clinton came to see her almost two weeks ago and had developed a “low-grade fever, congestion, and fatigue” which Clinton initially passed off as allergies.
